An efficient workspace, is a happy workspace…

To get started with a new project, first open up the Unity Hub.

In our ‘Projects’ tab will be listed any projects we have already started, to open up an existing project just click it. To start a new project, click on ‘New’. This will open up the New Project dialog.

NOTE: If you have multiple Unity versions installed, you can use the arrow next to the ‘New’ button to specify which Unity version you want to create a project with.

You’ll notice several template options to create our new game with. Select the base project you want to start with, give your project a name and ensure you have an appropriate location set for your project folder.

Once you’re set, click ‘Create’.

In just a few simple steps, we can have everything nice and organized and right where we need it.

I’ll give a run down on the Unity UI in my next article.
